TheJobKart brings you the complete details of the DSSSB Delhi District Court Recruitment 2026. The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has opened applications for 641 posts in the District and Sessions Courts and Family Courts of Delhi, and this is a combined examination covering five different post types β from Senior Personal Assistant down to Peon.
That range is what makes this recruitment unusual. A graduate with shorthand can apply for a Personal Assistant post, a graduate with computer typing can apply for Junior Judicial Assistant, and a candidate who has passed Class 10 can apply for Peon. Each post has its own post code, qualification and exam pattern, so the first step is to pick the right post code for your own qualification rather than applying for everything at once.
The last date to apply is 4 November 2026, at 11:00 PM, and the application is online only.

A Combined Examination, Not a Single Post
Advertisement No. 04/2026 is a combined examination, but the five post types are not interchangeable. Senior Personal Assistant and Personal Assistant share post code 805/26, Junior Judicial Assistant is 806/26, Process Server is 807/26, and Peon/Orderly/Dak Peon is 808/26. Each post code has its own eligibility, vacancy table and exam scheme, and the descriptive and skill stages differ from one post code to another.
Do not confuse this advertisement with the separate DSSSB Advertisement No. 05/2026, which covers Sweeper/Safai Karamchari and Chowkidar posts in the District and Sessions Courts, with a different last date. That advertisement is not part of this post.
Vacancy Details
The 641 vacancies are tentative and include backlog vacancies. They may increase or decrease on the basis of inputs from the indenting departments, so candidates should check the latest position on the official website before the last date.

About DSSSB and Delhi District Courts
The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board, based at FC-18, Institutional Area, Karkardooma, Delhi, recruits for subordinate services posts under the Government of NCT of Delhi. For this advertisement it is conducting the Combined Examination 2026 on behalf of the Delhi District Courts.
The District and Sessions Courts and the Family Courts of Delhi handle the bulk of trial-level civil and criminal work in the capital, along with family matters. The posts in this recruitment support that work directly: Personal Assistants and Senior Personal Assistants support judges and senior officers with shorthand and drafting work, Junior Judicial Assistants handle court and office records, Process Servers serve court processes, and Peons handle office and court support duties.
Why This Recruitment Stands Out
For candidates in Delhi, this is a rare combined court recruitment that covers both graduate-level and Class 10-level posts in a single advertisement, with 641 vacancies across two court systems. The fee is also low β Rs. 100 for UR, OBC and EWS male candidates, and nil for women, SC, ST, PwBD and ex-servicemen candidates.
At the same time, the post-wise differences matter more here than in a single-post recruitment. A candidate who qualifies for Junior Judicial Assistant on typing alone cannot assume the same preparation works for Personal Assistant, which needs shorthand, or for Process Server, which needs a driving licence and a driving test. The Delhi-only OBC rule and the no-correction rule after submission are two more points to check before submitting, not after.
